Corbin Lyle

I don’t have any real nieces and nephews yet, but I have a lot of besties having babies and I AM LOVING IT. Anyone who knows me knows that I love babies – my family affectionately calls me “the baby whisperer” and if there’s a baby at a family function, you better get your turn before I get there because once I have the baby I won’t have a hard time giving them up. 😉 I get lucky during my newborn sessions because I don’t really have to share the baby with anyone at all and I always make sure I leave time for snuggling at the end!

Corbin Lyle is my newest “nephew” and he is every bit as cute in person as he is in his newborn photos. He was a tiny bit of a stinker for his Auntie Layne and he DID NOT want to sleep for the first few hours, but once his mamma got him all snuggled up and his tummy was full he slept so well. I think we actually got most of these shots in about an hour after trying for almost twice as long and fighting him to take a nap.

I’m so thankful my friends trust me to capture moments like these for them — especially with a new baby since they get so big so fast. Karley and I have been friends since I was working in bridal in high school, and even then I knew how bad she wanted to be a mom, so it makes me very happy to see her with her sweet little boy now. 🙂

Corbin’s mommy and daddy are head over heels for this little guy and I think by the end of this post you will be too. Congratulations Conner & Karley – he’s perfect!
