Cheyenne | Personal Shoot

New friends are wonderful. I absolutely love meeting new people, hearing their stories, and sharing memories with them! But there is nothing that can beat the old friends. The ones you went through all of the awkward stages of life with; the ones you can call up at any time of day to talk about anything; the ones you share a lifetime of memories with.

Let me tell you ’bout my oldest best friend:

Cheyenne has an infectious personality + the biggest heart. She has an enduring spirit + is positively stunning. She has a blooming future + leaves an indelible mark everywhere she goes.

Her free spirit, wanderlust, and need for adventure have always inspired me and we had some serious soul talk after this shoot about what the next chapter in each of our lives is going to bring. To me, there is nothing better than a good conversation with an old friend. Reminisce about the old, catch up on the new + enjoy some popcorn and cozy blankets while you’re at it 😉

Getting to do a shoot for a personal project is always a treat for photographers and this one might rival all of my others. Between the perfect outfit, beautiful model, and the combination of this field + Midwestern golden light — I can’t think of anything better.

This is what I dream of. Photos that empower the bold + beautiful – inside and out. Directed towards girls who are sophisticated, yet free-spirited and march to their own beat. Maybe Cheyenne and I have stayed best friends for so long because she encompasses all I believe young women should be.
