Busy season has arrived and I am loving it! The sunsets are back to the perfect golden hue and my clients are just beautiful, as always. 🙂 Since returning to the Bismarck, North Dakota area earlier in the spring, I’ve opened up my schedule to include a lot more family, newborn and lifestyle sessions, which has been such a fun way to shake things up a bit!

Cheyanne and I met a few years ago through a mutual friend and I was so, so lucky Cheyanne and her husband Jake chose me as their engagement photographer! (You can see that session here.) For the last two years, I’ve told both of them that I would do anything to have the light we had the night of their engagement session again; it was absolutely perfect. Luckily, for Cheyanne and I, we had very similar perfect light for her headshot session in June! Cheyanne has recently hit the rank of Regional Vice President with Arbonne, and asked me to take some updated “headshots” for her but, instead, we turned it into an all-out session. 😉 The light was WAY too good to pass up, so we chased the sun until we couldn’t anymore.

Chey, you are just beautiful – inside and out. It has been a joy to watch you chase your dreams this past year, and I am so proud of you! I hope you love these photos as much as I do!
