Since I returned from gallivanting the globe with Semester at Sea, I’ve been busy processing all of the wonderful experiences I had, job-hunting, finding a place to live, graduating from college, and, well, working! But don’t worry – the rest of my Semester at Sea blog posts are coming soon. 😉 But first, my latest senior session!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to work with one of my 2016 seniors again! If you follow me on Snapchat you probably saw some of the sneak peeks I was posting from behind the scenes. 😉 It has been cold and windy here in North Dakota lately, so I was squealing with delight (actually) when there was no wind, perfect sunlight, and warm temperatures for Emily and I’s second session together!

I am feeling so fortunate that Emily loved the photos we captured in our first session together so much that she booked me for another session! Sometimes it’s easy to get discouraged as a photographer, but it’s clients like Emily that keep me falling in love with what I do. 🙂

Emily, I am so honored that you chose me to be your senior portrait photographer. I hope you love these springtime, dark-haired, graduation-adorned photos as much as the summery, blonde-hair, country-chic session we did the first time around. 😉 I know you have an amazing future ahead of you – never let your beautiful smile fade or lose any of your sass! The University of Mary is so lucky to have you coming this fall. 🙂
